BIDittle Game Summary

BIDittle is played best with 4 players ages 10-Adult.

BIDittle players are dealt 7 cards per hand.  Using a simple bidding language based on high card points, partners work together to bid on the number of tricks the team intends to win and identify which suit or notrump the game will be played.  The game board corners include bidding prompts to help the new player bid more easily.  Once the final bid has been defined, the dummy hand is introduced, and the play of the hand is just like Bridge.  The seven-card hands are easy to hold and help make the game move quickly.

BIDittle-to-Bridge Game Board

The reversible "BIDittle-to-Bridge" game board helps BIDittle players start playing the game of Bridge.  It is used as a teaching aid during BIDittle-to-Bridge lessons.  The game board enables players to keep track of the bidding history and the board includes bidding prompts and scoring information.  Bidding guidelines are based on min/med/max point ranges as defined by the ACBL Bridge Series book - Bidding in the 21st Century.

Hands-on Factor

A bidding game board  helps players keep track of the bidding auction and the game contract.  The bidding prompts at the corners of the game board help new players bid more quickly.

Nice Number of Cards

Players of the BIDittle game are dealt seven cards per hand - an ideal number of cards to develop strategy skills, but not so many that it’s difficult to hold the cards.  Game play goes fast – good for beginners.

Easy Bidding Guidelines

Based on high card points, the simple BIDittle bidding guidelines make it easy for new players to bid quickly and confidently.  Partners work together to find and bid the best trump contract.  The corners of the game board include bidding prompts to help new players along the way.

Simple Scoring

Points are earned based on the number of tricks declared during the bidding auction.
