BIDittle was originally designed with kids in mind - to give them something else to do besides playing video games and watching TV. While enjoying a family vacation at the beach during the summer of 2005, the game designer wanted to play a new card game with her 9-year-old son, Michael, and nephews,Jonathon and Jordan.  A true bridge enthusiast, she thought about teaching them the game of bridge or euchre, yet decided she didn't have enough time in between beach and pool activities.... so a new game was developed - one that  integrated the best features from the best classic card games and one that could be enjoyed in a short period of time.

Over the years, many extracurricular BIdittle school clubs were started.  During the summer, a BIDittle camp was organized at the local community library.  The excitement was very positive.  Based on the students' feedback, the game was continually modified and enhanced.  In 2011, Tricia started a school Bridge club at Villa Madonna Academy and used the BIDittle game as a teaching tool.  Look for many good Bridge players to come from this club.
