Hands-on Factor A bidding game board helps players keep track of the bidding auction and the game contract. Nice Number of Cards Eight cards per person is an ideal number to develop strategy skills, but not so many that it’s difficult to hold the cards. Game play goes fast – good for beginners.
Bidding Guidelines Based on high card points and trump length, the BIDittle bidding guidelines make it easy for new players to bid quickly and confidently. Partners work together to find and bid the best trump contract.
Easy Scoring Points are earned based on the number of tricks declared during the bidding auction.
Each player is dealt 7 cards with four extra cards placed face down under each corner of the game board. Using a simple bidding language, partners work together to bid on the number of tricks the team intends to win and the suit the player wants to define as trump. One BIDittle corner card may be turned over before each bid, and if desired and if the player bids, the card may be picked up and replaced with one card in player’s hand. This feature can miraculously change a very dull hand and adds excitement for all. The team that wins the bid, after three consecutive passes, earns points by taking enough tricks to make the contract. Defending partners earn points by defeating the contract. Watch out for a DOUBLE bid! If the defenders prevent the team from making the contract, the defenders get double points. It the declaring team wins the bid, they earn double points. The team with the most points after 8 hands wins.
